#Super smash flash 2 beta v1.1 update
This update also added several new items: the Blood Sword, Poison Bomb, Screw Attack, Trophy Stand, Medusa Head, and Item Bag. Nagato, Riku, Bullet Bill, and Magnet Bomber were also added as Assist Trophies, and Wobbuffet was added as a Poké Ball Pokémon. Smash Balls return to the game, yet again, bringing Final Smashes with them. In addition to these, stages such as Mushroom Kingdom II and Nintendo 3DS received the stage hazards they had prior to being removed in Beta 1.0, and Central Highway received completely new sprites for its background. Several new stages have been added as well, including Venus Lighthouse, The World That Never Was, Sky Pillar, Krazoa Palace, Suzaku Castle, Polygon Zone, Thousand Sunny, and Urban Champion. As with other versions of the demo, many changes have also been made to the returning characters, including Kirby, Ness, and Sora having completely new sprites. However, these characters, along with Sandbag and Pichu, would be available without needing to be unlocked during this demo. The goal is as always: to throw your enemies out of the arena after beating on them. This demo features many differences from Beta 1.1, with the most notable being the addition of six new unlockable characters: Simon, Krystal, Rayman, Waluigi, Lucario, and Ryu. The game's controls are just what you would expect: two attack buttons that can be combined with any direction key to perform over a dozen different attacks. Each, of course, comes with its own surprises. There is not only one scenario for each character, but several different ones that you will find really entertaining. There is also a wide range of arenas where you can fight. Goku, Naruto, Sonic, Mario, Link, Pikachu, Kirby, Ichigo or a black mage from Final Fantasy are just a few of the names that you will find. One of the most important parts of this type of game is its cast of playable characters, and Super Smash Flash 2 does not disappoint. The animations are pretty good too its a real treat to watch them move across the stage. Super Smash Flash 2 is a 2D fighting game that borrows many of its elements from the popular Nintendo franchise, Super Smash Bros, and offers an extremely similar gaming experience with a few unique features.įor example, despite having a very similar aesthetic (especially the entire menus), Super Smash Flash 2 uses an 8 bit visual style that will make all the retro-gamers very pleased.
